🔐 Step-by-Step Guide to Get App Password

Part A: Enable 2-Factor Authentication (If Not Already Enabled)

Why This is Required:
Google requires 2-factor authentication for App Passwords to enhance security.

1. Go to Google Account Settings
   - Open your web browser
   - Visit: https://myaccount.google.com/
   - Sign in with your Gmail account

2. Navigate to Security Section
   - Click "Security" in the left sidebar
   - Scroll to "How you sign in to Google"

3. Enable 2-Step Verification
   - Find "2-Step Verification" and click it
   - Click "Get Started"
   - Follow the prompts to set up:
     - Enter your password
     - Add your phone number
     - Choose verification method (text message or authenticator app)
     - Enter the code sent to your phone
   - Click "Turn On"

Part B: Generate App Password

1. Access App Passwords Page
   - In the same Google Security section
   - Scroll down to "Signing in to Google"
   - Find and click "App passwords"
   - Or go directly: https://myaccount.google.com/apppasswords

2. Verify Your Identity
   - You may need to re-enter your Google password
   - Complete 2-factor authentication again

3. Create New App Password
   - Step 1: Select App
     - Click the dropdown under "Select app"
     - Choose "Mail"
   - Step 2: Select Device
     - Click the dropdown under "Select device"
     - Choose "Other (Custom name)"
   - Step 3: Name Your App
     - Type: "Email Sender Pro" (or any name you'll recognize)
     - Click "Generate"

4. Copy the App Password
   - Google will display a 16-character password
   - It will look like: abcd efgh ijkl mnop
   - Important: Copy it exactly as shown
   - Click "Done"

Part C: Save Account in Email Sender Pro App

1. Open Email Sender Pro App
   - Ensure you're on the main screen

2. Click "+ Add / Manage" Button
   - Located next to the account dropdown
   - This opens the "Manage Accounts" dialog

3. Enter Your Account Details
   - Gmail address: yourname@gmail.com
   - App Password: Paste the 16-character password you copied
   - Note: Use the exact 16-character code from Google (spaces don't matter)

4. Save the Account
   - Click "Save Account" button
   - You should see confirmation: "Saved [your email]"
   - The account now appears in your saved accounts list

5. Close the Dialog
   - Click "Close" to return to main screen
